Prerequisites:

  • You need to have admin privilege on GTM Buddy to enable this integration
  • Identify the Sales Enablement Channel configured by GTM Buddy during onboarding.


Here's a step-by-step guide to enable Slack Integration


  1. Go to Org. Settings by clicking on the gear icon on the navigation side bar.
  2. Navigate to 'Integrations' and enable Slack.
  3. On the permissions page, find and select the enablement channel that was configured by GTM Buddy during onboarding. 
  4. Once done, click on 'Allow' for the integration to be enabled successfully.
  5. You will now find the 'GTM Buddy' under the Apps section on Slack. 
  6. This is where sellers are notified of prospect engagement- from email opens, document views to total view time or, of posts assigned to them, @mentions,activity on the posts created by them, etc.
  7. You will find the 'Sales Enablement' channel that was selected while enabling the integration under the channels section. Add '@GTM Buddy' to activate the channel.
  8. Here,  users will be notified of content feedback, requests and other suggestions posted on the Forum. Users can quickly set assignees, status and category within Slack.
